Murfreesboro, TN - The Murfreesboro Christmas Parade again was packed with spectators, bands, floats, and an awesome amount of candy! All of this despite cloudy skies, on and off drizzle and temps in the mid 50s. Our hats off to Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation Department for again creating an event that truly shined with the spirit of the season.
The grand marshals were a father and son duo, Lady Raiders Head Basketball Coach Rick Insell and his son Matt, who is assistant head coach.
Congratulations to the WINNING FLOAT entries:
- Best antique vehicle: Chambers Construction & Real Estate
- Best Float-Business: White Monkey Estate Sales
- Best Float-Church or School: LifeLine Church
- Best Float-Scout/Civic/Social Group: Isaiah 117 House
- Best Dance Group/Parade Performers: Dance Academy
- Best in Show: Cub Scout Pack #92
