Numerous agencies that provide services to individuals and families that are experiencing / or have experienced homelessness will come together on August 4th to help those in need. The Pathway to Hope community outreach event is scheduled to take place on August 4th at the Salvation Army in Murfreesboro.
A variety of organizations will be on hand to provide services and information to guests. There will be free food, prize drawings, hygiene bags, select clothing items, and barbers on site to give haircuts. Case Management Specialist Javita Williamson told WGNS the one-day event on Thursday, August 4th at the Salvation Army in Murfreesboro (1137 West Main Street, Murfreesboro, TN 37129) will be between 10AM and 4PM. This event is geared towards not only families and individuals who have experienced homelessness, but also to those at risk of becoming homeless.
In addition, attendees can also receive referrals for health care, housing solutions, employment, substance use treatment, mental health counseling and other essential services.
