UPDATE: Murfreesboro Detectives say a woman named Kanika Coleman, who is wanted for various crimes, is now going by the alias of Honey 'Nika' Jones.
Public Information Officer Larry Flowers told WGNS News on Tuesday (3/29/22), “She was recently employed at Waffle House on Lascassas Pike from Jan. 12 - Feb. 13. She was hired after having a meal and her card declined. Coleman listed a Monroe Lane address in Brentwood on her application.”
Last month, police reported that she was wanted for questioning after a room at the Residence Inn was broken into and the victim’s company credit card was stolen. The card was used to make multiple purchases at businesses on Medical Center Pkwy.
While the list of charges against Coleman appears to be growing, it appears as if authorities are not any closer to finding her.
Some of the past aliases that 39-year-old Coleman is accused of using include Princess Putman, Kanika Putman and Bettie Putman, according to the Murfreesboro Police Department.
On Tuesday, the MPD reported that suspect is still driving a white BMW SUV, which can be seen above this news story.
