MURFREESBORO, TN - Murfreesboro police detectives, in coordination with the Metro Nashville Police Department and the FBI, have arrested a second suspect in connection with the armed robbery of a Loomis armored truck earlier this month. Gregory Clark, 27, of Nashville, was taken into custody without incident on Tuesday, April 21. Authorities located Clark at an apartment complex on Old Hickory Place in Nashville. He is charged with aggravated robbery and employment of a firearm during a dangerous felony.
The arrest follows a multi-agency investigation into the April 8 heist at the Ascend Federal Credit Union on West Clark Boulevard. According to investigators, Clark and an accomplice, Drew Sisco, 37, assaulted an armored truck employee before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Following the robbery, Murfreesboro officers attempted to stop the suspects' getaway vehicle, a black 2018 Nissan Armada, near Old Fort Park. The encounter sparked a high-speed pursuit across Interstate 24 and Interstate 840. The chase continued onto Northwest Broad Street toward Smyrna, where officers lost sight of the SUV near George Franklin Road. Detectives later determined the suspects had swapped the vehicle's license plate to evade capture.
Sisco was arrested the day after the robbery. During that phase of the investigation, authorities recovered a portion of the stolen currency. A search warrant executed at Clark’s Nashville residence this week yielded additional evidence linked to the crime.
Clark is currently held at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center on a $300,000 bond. His preliminary hearing is set for June 1. Sisco remains jailed on an identical bond and is scheduled for a court appearance on May 18. See previous article HERE.
