Region 3-6A Announces 2025 All-Region Football Team, Postseason Honors

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WGNS) - Region 3-6A announced its 2025 All-Region Football Team and postseason superlatives, recognizing standout performances from Class 6A programs across Rutherford County during the fall season.

The region’s postseason run featured a historic matchup in the semifinals, where Oakland and Blackman met in what marked the first season two teams from the same region could face each other in the semifinal round due to playoff bracket changes adopted by TSSAA. For Blackman, the appearance represented only the second semifinal berth in school history. Riverdale advanced to the quarterfinals, while Smyrna also earned a playoff berth, underscoring the depth of the region.
