Murfreesboro Police Find Missing 16-Year-Old Safe

MURFREESBORO, TN - UPDATED: BOLO CANCELED! 16-year-old Tyler Miller has been safely located, according to the MPD. Murfreesboro authorities confirmed the teen was safe at around 9:15, Monday morning. Previous news article below. 

 

The Murfreesboro Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating 16-year-old Tyler Miller, who was reported missing by his mother on October 24. According to police, Miller left home willingly, and his mother does not know how he may be traveling or where he may be headed.

Miller has been officially entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) as a missing-runaway juvenile. Police are urging anyone who may have seen him or has information about his whereabouts to come forward.

Tyler Miller is described as:

  • Age: 16

  • Height: 6’1”

  • Weight: 150 lbs

  • Status: Reported missing, considered a runaway

The investigation is being led by Detective Frank Smith with the Murfreesboro Police Department. Anyone with information is asked to call 629-201-5568 or contact Murfreesboro Police directly.
