MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Detectives with the Murfreesboro Police Department (MPD) have provided an update on the stolen trailer case reported earlier this month. The suspect accused of stealing a trailer from a construction site on John Bragg Highway has been identified and arrested; however, the trailer itself remains missing.

Investigators say the stolen trailer is a white, fully enclosed single-axle trailer approximately 12 feet long. It features a distinctive orange KTM sticker on the front and a Fox Racing sticker on the rear door, which is damaged and caved in.

The theft occurred between Friday, October 17, and Monday, October 20, while the trailer was parked at a local apartment complex construction site. The trailer contained several thousand dollars’ worth of tools belonging to a local contractor.

MPD detectives determined that the suspect was driving a small, light-colored pickup truck, believed to be a 1990s Ford Ranger, based on video surveillance from the area.

While the suspect is now in custody, police are asking for the public’s help locating the stolen trailer. Anyone who spots it or has information on its whereabouts is urged to contact Detective Ferree at 629-201-5628.
