Volunteers Needed
These expansions come with a growing need for support. Greenhouse is actively seeking donations of food and clothing, and especially more volunteers. Weekly Volunteer Orientation sessions are held every Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at their office, located at 307 S. Academy Street in downtown Murfreesboro.
Co-founder Cliff Sharp emphasized the ministry’s mission: “The individuals and families who visit Greenhouse are special, and our goal is to get to know them, become friends, help them with their needs, pray with them—treat them with dignity.”'
Living University has two openings
Greenhouse’s Living University program also continues to thrive, recently graduating two men equipped with essential life skills—from job readiness to financial stewardship. The program currently has two openings, offering participants affordable housing in on-site apartments.
