MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WGNS) – Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating two teenage girls who have been reported as missing runaways from the Murfreesboro area.

Diamond Ellison, 15, and Shaniya Rutledge, 17, were last seen Tuesday, June 17, in the Jayhawk Court neighborhood. They were later spotted near Warrior Drive and South Church Street.

Ellison is described as being 5'3" tall and weighing approximately 180 pounds. She has red hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a black shirt and grey sweatpants.

Rutledge’s height is currently unknown, but she weighs about 150 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a white hoodie and black shorts.

According to the Murfreesboro Police Department, neither teen has known ties to the local area, and investigators believe they may have left voluntarily.
