MURFREESBORO, TN — Dr. Ben Carson, former U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development and founder of the American Cornerstone Institute, will speak at World Outreach Church during weekend worship services on Saturday, June 21, and Sunday, June 22.

A retired pediatric neurosurgeon and bestselling author, Dr. Carson is scheduled to deliver an encouraging message during services at 6 p.m. Saturday and 9:30 a.m. Sunday. The event will be held at World Outreach Church, located in Murfreesboro. Admission is free and open to the public.

Dr. Carson is known for his personal story of overcoming adversity in his youth and achieving professional success in medicine and public service. He served in the Trump administration from 2017 to 2021 as Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.

Senior Pastor Allen Jackson described Carson’s appearance as timely and inspirational. “Everyone is welcome to join us and come hear his wise perspective,” said Jackson.
