MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Detectives with the Murfreesboro Police Department (MPD) are actively investigating a series of vehicle burglaries that occurred between Wednesday, May 7 and Saturday, May 10 in the Old Fort Parkway and Franklin Road area on the city’s west side.
According to police reports, several personal items were stolen from the vehicles, including debit cards, credit cards, and other valuables. The MPD has released photos of two individuals believed to be connected to the crimes. The suspects were last seen driving a four-door sedan, which authorities say may also be a stolen vehicle.
Images captured from nearby surveillance cameras show at least one of the men wearing a dark-colored hooded jacket with the hood up, and what appears to be a stocking cap underneath.
Detectives are now turning to the public for assistance in identifying the suspects. Anyone who recognizes the individuals is urged to contact Detective Jamison at 629-201-5581.
Murfreesboro Police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles, remove valuables, and report any suspicious activity to help prevent future incidents.
