While at the Farmers Market, WGNS' Bart Walker spoke with Hannah Bleam...
Rutherford County Agricultural Extension Service Director Anthony Tuggle explained, "This is a Producer-Only Farmers Market located in the indoor/open air Community Center at the Lane Agri-Park in Murfreesboro. That means the walls are rolled UP if it's a sunny and warm day. They are down if it's stormy and cold. You never have to worry about the weather, it's perfect "rain or shine".
Tuggle continued, "Our market vendors hail from over a dozen Middle Tennessee counties and sell a wide variety of seasonal: Fruits, Vegetables, Meats, Eggs, Baked, and Canned goods, Flower, Plants, shrubs and trees.
Again, the 50th year of Rutherford County Farmers Market is now open and going strong at the Lane Agri-Park, 315 John R. Rice Blvd.).
