MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WGNS) - What began as a heartfelt tribute to one fallen Marine’s child has grown into a nationwide movement supporting more than 5,000 children. On Friday, May 9, 2025, the A Soldier’s Child Foundation will host its 16th annual A Life Worth Celebrating Dinner Banquet at Middle Tennessee State University’s beautiful Student Union Building.

The evening will bring together families, supporters, and community members to celebrate the lives of children impacted by loss while raising funds to continue the foundation’s mission. Guests will enjoy a plated dinner, an open bar, live entertainment, special guest speakers, and both silent and live auctions, with all proceeds benefiting the children of A Soldier’s Child Foundation.

The banquet doors will open at 5:30 PM with appetizers and a welcoming atmosphere, followed by dinner service at 6:30 PM. Attendees are encouraged to dress in business casual attire, though formal evening wear is always a welcomed sight.

Individual tickets and table sponsorships are available, offering supporters an opportunity to take part in a night dedicated to honoring young lives and ensuring that children of fallen service members receive continued care and recognition.
