MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS) is inviting the community to lace up their shoes and roll into action during the 2025 VA2K Walk and Roll, set for Wednesday, May 21, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. local time.
This annual two-kilometer walk, open to Veterans, families, VA staff, and community supporters, will take place at multiple VA locations across Tennessee, including the Alvin C. York VA Medical Center in Murfreesboro, the Nashville campus, and clinics in Chattanooga and Clarksville.
The VA2K Walk and Roll is more than just a health-focused event—it’s a movement of compassion aimed at raising awareness and gathering support for homeless Veterans. Attendees are encouraged to bring donations of new clothing items and sealed packaged food to benefit the TVHS Homeless Veteran Program. The TVHS Center for Development and Civic Engagement (CDCE) will be collecting these items on-site.
Each location will feature live music, VA resource tables, and other family-friendly entertainment, turning the event into a celebration of wellness and community spirit.
For those unable to attend in person, monetary donations can be made online by visiting Pay.gov and selecting the “Homeless Veteran Fund.”
