MURFREESBORO — After nearly four decades as a local home décor staple, Old Time Pottery in Murfreesboro is set to reopen as Gabe’s on Saturday, April 26.

The store, located at 480 River Rock Blvd., has been temporarily closed for remodeling in preparation for the transition.

Gabe’s, an off-price retailer, acquired Old Time Pottery in 2023. The transition combines the strengths of both brands, offering customers a wider variety of home, fashion, and seasonal products at discounted prices.

The Murfreesboro location, originally opened in 1986, will now feature a mix of Gabe’s fashion, footwear, and home merchandise, alongside select items from Old Time Pottery’s inventory.

The reopening marks a new chapter for the store, blending the legacy of Old Time Pottery with the value-driven approach of Gabe’s.
