Rutherford County, TN - Did you have an exciting spring break adventure, or are you just bracing for the return to routine?

Spring break is over, and it's time to swap swimsuits and ski gear for backpacks and books! If you've been too busy making memories to check whether schools are open, WGNS has been keeping tabs for you.

Don't be left flying in the wind. Rutherford County Schools' Chief Communications Officer James Evans sent this to parents and guardians:

We hope you had an enjoyable spring break. 

With the turbulent weather over the past week, some school districts are closing tomorrow because of severe flooding issues affecting their communities and we’ve received some questions about whether we are open. So we want ensure everyone knows that all Rutherford County schools will be open on Monday, April 7, and buses will be running. 

We are looking forward to seeing students return and finish the school year strong.
