Murfreesboro, TN - Taliek Gallishaw-King is wanted in connection with the shooting investigation of a 4-year-old boy in Rutherford County. He was also previously arrested on an attempted murder charge in Smyrna and is out on bond for that charge, according to Rutherford County Sheriff’s Detective Jesse Gammel.
The detective noted that Gallishaw-King is wanted on charges of tampering with evidence and reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon related to the boy’s shooting on Saturday morning.
Early on Saturday (2/22/2025) deputies responded to a home on Tessa Grace Road in Murfreesboro where the young child was found suffering from a gunshot wound. The 4-year old was taken to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville where he underwent surgery. The child is expected to survive.
“Investigators on-the-scene determined Taliek Gallishaw-King fled the scene in an unknown vehicle shortly before law enforcement’s arrival and he allegedly took with him the handgun used in the shooting,” Gammel said.
Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Taliek Gallishaw-King.
According to Detective Gammel, “Gallishaw-King is presumed to be armed and dangerous.”
