Murfreesboro, TN – Change is a part of life, and Bud and Kay Mitchell decided to enjoy time with family and retire after 38-years of owning Bud’s Tire. During a past interview, Kay told WGNS... The next time you walk into Bud's Tire, you will still get that warm hometown feeling, because customers will be greeted by another longtime Kittrell husband and wife team who recently purchased the business at 3600 Woodbury Pike.

A smiling and energetic young couple stepped forward after inking the deal. Kittrell’s Johnny and Melissa Kincaid stand by the old saying “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”.

WGNS congratulates both the Mitchell and Kincaid families for the new adventures ahead for both of them. And may there be continued happiness and success as a new road is traveled.

Remember, it’s always important to support locally owned and operated businesses and that goes for 3600 Woodbury Pike—and for newcomers, the Woodbury Pike is the same thing as East Main St, it just has a different street number as you drive from the city and into the county. The road changes names as you drive past Double Springs Road while on route to Bud’s.
