Murfreesboro, TN - A fire was reported at the Ramada Inn, 1855 S. Church St. on Thursday night. Upon arrival, responding crews found an electrical outlet in a breezeway burning. The fire was quickly extinguished by Murfreesboro Fire and Rescue Department. Smoke was removed from the hallways, and occupants were instructed to shelter in place during the process. Fortunately, there were no injuries, and the building remains open for business.
The more than seven units of the fire department created their own light display against the pitch-black-skies.
Units on scene included Ladder 1, Ladder 2, Ladder 4, Ladder 6, Engine 3, Engine 9, Rescue 1, Rescue 4, Safety 1, Safety 2, Battalion Chief 1 and 2.
