About an hour northwest of Murfreesboro in Robertson County, an adult has been arrested for a crime against a minor, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI). But the incident began in Goodlettsville, TN. The investigation by special agents with the TBI into allegations of rape against a juvenile resulted in the indictment and arrest of the Millersville man.

At the request of the 19th Judicial District Attorney General Robert Nash, on September 4th, TBI special agents began investigating allegations that a juvenile had been raped by Joseph Maynard. During the course of the investigation, agents developed information that, in July, Maynard had sexual contact with the juvenile at a home in Goodlettsville.
