The Smyrna Rotary Club is gearing up to host the 22nd annual Wings of Freedom Fish Fry. It will be held on Saturday, September 21st at the Azure Corporate Flight Management Hangar at the Smyrna Airport from 5-9pm. Gates open at 4pm.
Every year, the event honors our veterans, or a special group in our community. This year, the event will be honoring the K-9 Officers.
Smyrna Rotary Vice President Carolyn Peebles calls the fish fry the party of the year:
Since 2003, over two million dollars has been raised and returned back to the community partners. Peebles says being able to leave a footprint on the community is what gives her the most reward:
The Wings of Freedom Fish Fry will have auctions, live music, food, beverages, a classic car show and more.
