(MURFREESBORO) - We will have to deal with some strong to severe storms to end the week but another slight cooldown will follow.
The Storm Prediction Center has placed Rutherford County and much of the state in a marginal (level 1/5) risk for severe storms both Friday and Saturday. The primary threats will be from damaging winds.
Once the cold front moves through Saturday, cooler weather will be ushered in and continue into next week. It will also end our chances for precipitation.
Now would be a good time to like, subscribe, follow and turn on notifications for Rutherford Weather on Facebook, YouTube and/or Twitch. You'll get updates on impactful and severe weather and we will go live on those channels in bad weather.
