MURFREESBORO, TN – The Murfreesboro Fire & Rescue Department recently fought a structure fire this past Wednesday at The Dylan Apartments on Battleground Dr. off of Peachtree Street. Apparently, the blaze occurred after the apartment office had closed at around 6 in the evening on July 24.

Flames could be seen coming from the office building as fire crews arrived. Thankfully, responding crews were able to knock the blaze down quickly and completely extinguish the fire.

It has since been confirmed that any occupants that were previously inside the structure, made it out safely and were not harmed.

As a result of the apartment building catching on fire, the Fire Marshal is investigating.

Fire crews with Ladder 1, Ladder 4, Ladder 6, Ladder 8, Engine 3, Engine 7, Rescue 1, Rescue 4, Safety 1 & 2, and Battalion Chiefs 1 & 2 all assisted with the fire.
