SMYRNA, TN - A man was killed in Smyrna on Thursday morning during a work-related incident. The situation unfolded at around 11:15 AM.

Public Information Officer Heather Kent told WGNS, “…the Smyrna Police Department responded to a workplace accident at a construction site on Rocky Fork Almaville Road at Kedron Church Road in Smyrna.  One worker was involved in the accident, and he died from his injuries.” 

There was no evidence of foul play. Authorities have not released any further details on the incident.
