Murfreesboro, TN - Here's an update on the multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of N.W. Broad at N. Thompson Lane. There was a reason that the involved vehicles were almost a block apart. Murfreesboro Police records show that the call came in at 7:08PM on last Wednesday night, June 19, 2024.

The preliminary report indicates the driver of the Jaguar was a juvenile, and reportedly went through the intersection and collided with the Camry.  

PIO Larry Flowes told WGNS, "The driver of the Jaguar, a 17-year-old, was arrested for leaving the scene, tampering with evidence, and Simple Possession of Schedule VI drugs."  (NOTE: Schedule VI drugs include marijuana, THC, and their synthetic equivalents. In Tennessee, marijuana is illegal for all medicinal and recreational use.)

There were no serious injuries, no one was transported to the hospital.
