UPDATE: Victims, Suspects Identified in LaVergne Double Homicide

LA VERGNE, TN - The La Vergne Police Department has identified the victims and suspects involved in a double homicide that occurred on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. The tragic event resulted in the deaths of 23-year-old Ramon Delgado, Jr. and 39-year-old Aaron Smith.

Authorities have disclosed that four individuals face various charges in connection with the shootings. Among them are two juveniles, both 17 years old. The first juvenile is facing charges of first-degree murder, aggravated assault, tampering with evidence, and filing a false report. The second juvenile is charged with tampering with evidence and filing a false report.

Additionally, 46-year-old Ramon Delgado Sr. has been charged with filing a false report. Another adult, aged 25, has also been charged with filing a false report but has not yet been taken into custody.

The investigation remains active and ongoing as authorities continue to gather evidence and piece together the circumstances leading up to the homicides. The La Vergne Police Department is urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward to assist in the investigation.

Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office has provided a mugshot of Ramon Delgado Sr., further emphasizing the community's commitment to transparency and justice.
