Empowering Families: Smyrna Kid's Safety Day Returns for Annual Event

Smyrna, TN - TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center, in collaboration with the Town of Smyrna, Smyrna Parks and Recreation, Smyrna Outdoor Adventure Center, and TriStar Centennial Children's Hospital, is set to host the highly anticipated Smyrna Kid's Safety Day on Saturday, May 4, 2024. This annual event aims to empower children and their families with essential safety knowledge to lead safe and healthy lives.

Mark your calendars for this free community event, which will take place from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Smyrna Outdoor Adventure Center located at 100 Sam Ridley Pkwy E, Smyrna, TN 37167. Families are encouraged to register by calling 615-342-1919 to secure their spot for a day filled with invaluable safety education and fun activities.

Smyrna Kid's Safety Day promises an array of engaging activities and resources designed to educate families on various safety topics. Attendees will have the opportunity to receive free bicycle helmets, courtesy of event sponsors, along with access to the Smyrna Activity Center. Exciting door prizes will be up for grabs throughout the event.

From inflatable attractions and balloon artists to face painting and indoor rock climbing, there will be no shortage of entertainment for children of all ages. Moreover, families can benefit from essential safety checks, including car seat safety inspections, as well as educational sessions on stranger danger awareness and home safety.

With a focus on comprehensive safety awareness, the event will cover an extensive range of topics, including bicycle safety, hunting safety, fire prevention, seatbelt usage, animal safety, and water safety. Representatives from local agencies and organizations will be on hand to provide valuable insights and resources to attendees.
