Rutherford County, TN - Support child abuse victims and drug endangered children by joining the Child Advocacy Center's Hometown Heroes Walk for Children. This event is crucial for funding the services provided by the Child Advocacy Center of Rutherford and Cannon Counties, which aid in the healing process for these vulnerable individuals.
Community members can contribute to this cause by sponsoring the walk, participating in the free event, and purchasing a T-shirt. Registration for the walk begins at 10:45 a.m. on Friday, April 26th at the Murfreesboro Civic Plaza, with the opening ceremony starting at 11:30 a.m.
The walk commences at noon, leading from the civic plaza to Oaklands Park Pavilion at 427 Roberts St. for a picnic lunch. Law enforcement officers, including sheriff's deputies and detectives, are expected to participate alongside other community members.
