MURFREESBORO, TN - The Discovery Center at Murfree Spring will host its annual museum fundraiser, Wine & Whiskey at the Wetlands, on Friday, March 15th, from 6:00 to 8:30 PM. Sponsored by CED Murfreesboro and presented by Charlie Patel and Stones River Total Beverages, the event will showcase a variety of fine wines and spirits, with food available for purchase. This year’s event also features a new VIP experience for an additional cost. Wine & Whiskey is for ages 21 and up. Tickets for this year’s event can be purchased at the Discovery Center’s website or at the door.
The VIP experience, taking place from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Discovery Center, will feature food from The Clay Pit Indian Cuisine and a wine program presented by Nashville Sommelier Davis Campbell of Wines Together. With over 20 years of experience in the wine industry, Campbell specializes in crafting wine experiences and classes for everyone from wine beginners to connoisseurs.
“We’re grateful to CED Murfreesboro as well as Charlie Patel and Stones River Total Beverages for continuing to support our mission of engaging curious minds to fuel the future through our hands-on programming and exhibits,” said President and CEO of the Discovery Center, Tara MacDougall. “We’re especially excited to introduce our elevated VIP experience with Davis Campbell, which promises to make the evening both educational and fun.”
All proceeds from Wine & Whiskey benefit the Discovery Center and their programming. Tickets are available for purchase on the museum’s website and are $60 in advance, $70 at the door, and $15 for designated drivers. VIP tickets are available in advance for $125.
