City of Murfreesboro Invites Applications for Public Service Grants

Murfreesboro, TN - Non-profit organizations and local government agencies dedicated to serving the low-moderate income community in the City of Murfreesboro are encouraged to apply for the City’s Public Service Grant. This initiative aims to support various programs catering to youth, education, job training, recreation, services for seniors, and homeless services. To be eligible for the grant, the activities proposed by organizations must directly benefit low- and moderate-income residents within Murfreesboro.

Under Community Development Block Grant regulations, the grant funds can be utilized for a broad spectrum of public service activities. Examples include child care and counseling, educational programs, fair housing activities, services for the homeless, job training, recreational programs, services for senior citizens, and youth services. Applications are being accepted starting immediately and will continue until the deadline on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 5:59 pm.
