This is not the first time local vape shops have been targeted. Most recently on Halloween night this past October, another vape shop on Old Fort Parkway fell victim to a break-in. In this case, the perpetrators hammered out the front glass of the establishment, as captured by a security camera. The video footage revealed the use of an actual hammer to shatter the window in the front door, allowing two alleged thieves to gain access to the business. Once inside, the suspects helped themselves to a variety of inventory from the vape shop. The October incident serves as a reminder of the challenges faced by local businesses dealing with burglary attempts.

Law enforcement is urging residents to remain vigilant and report any information related to either incident. The collaboration between the community and detectives is crucial in solving these crimes and ensuring the safety and security of local businesses. The Murfreesboro Police Department encourages prompt reporting of any suspicious activities or knowledge that may aid in identifying and apprehending those involved in these unlawful acts.
