(MURFREESBORO)  National Wreaths Across America Day local ceremony will be at the Stones River National Battlefield, 3501 Old Nashville Highway, Murfreesboro. at 11:00 o'clock Saturday morning, Dec. 16, 2023. 

Approximately 7,000 wreaths will be placed. The program begins with a special memorial ceremony from the rostrum that is located in the center of the battlefield cemetery. This is a non-political event that is designed to Remember and Honor veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes. It also includes saying the names of the veterans who are buried there.

Approximately 15 per cent of the wreaths are sponsored already at Stones River Battlefied. Your support is needed, because nearly 85 per cent of the needed wreaths are not sponsored. Sponsorships include: 1 wreath for $17, 2 for $34, 5 for $85 (the most popular sponsorship), or 10 wreaths for $170.
