Middle Tennessee Christian School is excited to announce renovations to our baseball facility, Joe Baron Field. In the coming weeks, we will begin installation of a synthetic turf to replace the current infield area of the baseball field.

The project is scheduled to be completed before the beginning of the 2024 season. The Cougars will open their home slate on March 12th against Providence Christian Academy.

Head baseball coach Jamie Carver says, “We are incredibly excited to make this major enhancement to Joe Baron Field. Many thanks go out to the countless families who have contributed their time and effort to make our baseball facility one of the best in the state. This is another great step in raising the bar for the MTCS baseball program.”

This project is made possible by a number of donors led by generous support from Thomas and Shannon Bruff. We are happy to continue our longstanding partnership with Warner Athletic Construction who will handle the installation.

Athletic Director Jason Piercey says, “Today is another exciting day to be a Cougar. The upgrades to our baseball facility follow the recent opening of our new high school building, Hollingshead Hall, and the addition of two new video scoreboards in our Varsity Gym. We look forward to continued commitment to facility improvements to give our student athletes and fans the best gameday experience in Middle Tennessee!
