RUTHERFORD COUNTY, TN – Local detectives need help identifying three persons of interest who are accused of using credit cards that were stolen in Murfreesboro.
According to Murfreesboro Police, the credit cards were stolen out of a car that was parked at the Stones River Country Club on NW Broad Street. The car was burglarized this past Thursday, October 26, 2023. After the unknown thieves helped themselves to the cards, they are believed to have headed to the Target store in Smyrna, which is near the Sam Ridley Parkway and I-24 interchange.
In Smyrna, the subjects reportedly entered the retail giant where they allegedly made a handful of purchases. Police say they used the stolen credit cards to pay for merchandise. After the culprits used the cards at Target, police believe they left the area in a dark-colored Hyundai SUV. However, authorities were not able to obtain a license plate number on the possible getaway vehicle.
A security video camera inside the Target store may have captured the suspects entering and leaving the store. If you happen to recognize the persons of interest in the photos above this article, please contact MPD Detective Aaron Gonzalez at 629-201-5638 - if you can assist in identifying them.
