(MURFREESBORO) Anytime is a bad time to mix alcohol/drugs with driving, but area law enforcement agencies are teaming-up to squelch it on Halloween weekend. Police will be on highway 41/70 (New Nashville Highway), near Roselawn Memorial Gardens, from 11:00 o'clock Saturday night (10/28/2023) until 1:00 o'clock Sunday morning (10/29/2023).
The Tennessee Highway Patrol will be checking drivers at this time.
In addition, member of the Rutherford County Traffic Task Force will be looking for impaired drivers in all areas. That team consists of officers from Murfreesboro and Smyrna Police Departments as well as the Rutherford County Sheriffs Office.
SLOW DOWN and definitely do not mix alcohol or drugs with driving. That's an expensive combination, and potentially "deadly"!
