(TENNESSEE) Sometimes we lose track of all that we have to enjoy here at home. The phrase "Beauty is not always enjoyed by those who are too close!" certainly hits home. The Volunteer State continues to be centered out by the nation and the world. The most recent accolade goes to the most popular museum in the entire United States.

Museums are ingrained in the culture of the US, from delving into national history to showcasing art and exploring the rich culture that has shaped the society we live in today.

In a nation that celebrates diversity and curiosity, AirportparkingReservations.com delved into the cultural landscape of museums to see which ones are among the most reviewed online, while also examining the number of positive conversations surrounding each museum in the US.

Elvis Presley Mansion named the most popular museum in America - Taking the top spot is Graceland. Located in Memphis, the mansion has received over 1.2 million total online reviews, with 19.5% of conversations being positive. For many, it’s not too much of a surprise that the house that belonged to the “King of Rock 'n' Roll” is the most popular, as it offers a glimpse into the life of one of America's most influential cultural figures. Then, with the release of the 2022 Elvis film, his popularity grew even further.

Tennessee Is At The TOP!

Yep, Graceland in the Bluff City is the number one museum in the nation. That puts the Volunteer State on top of New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art, Atlanta's High Museum, Cleveland's Rock'n Roll Hall of Fame, and many others.

Not The First Surprise For Tennessee

As you recall, in June National Geographic named Nashville, TN as the top travel destination in the world.

Back to the phrase, "Beauty is not always enjoyed by those who are too close!" In some cases, the phrase "Youth is wasted on the young" could be changed to "Beauty is wasted on the young"

But then, that's true whether you're in America, Europe, Japan or elsewhere. In fact, a local traveler had a taxi driver comment, "I can't figure why so many people come here." They were making that comment while loading his taxi in the shadows of one of the world's tallest cathedrals in Strasbourg, France--surrounded by old buildings--some nearing 800 years.
