MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Murfreesboro Parks Natural Resources Team and TennGreen Land Conservancy are hosting a Neighbors of Barfield Park Community Event on Tuesday, October 17 from 4 to 5:30 pm at The Wilderness Station. This event is to help educate the neighbors of Barfield Park on what they can do to support the park’s natural environment.

Kristin Hopkins, Natural Resources Manager, will speak on management techniques that can be used and some challenges that the park is facing. She will also discuss what neighbors can plant in their yards to help support the park’s natural area.

Tenn Green will be onsite to talk about their services and give homeowners some conservation easement and land protection options. This is a family-friendly event and light refreshments will be provided. Please RSVP by October 15 at bit.ly/barfieldpark!
