(MURFREESBORO) Emergency responders answered two calls within minutes of each other and both in the same vicinity. One near the hospital and the other at the Stones River Towne Centre.  

At 1:07PM Tuesday (9/26/2023) Murfreesboro Police received a call about a three-vehicle crash on Medical Center Parkway and Joe McKnight Drive (entrance to The Oaks Shopping Center—Ross, Marshalls, Julia’s Bakery and others at that entrance).  The crash involved a red Chevy pickup, silver 4-door Nissan, and gray Nissan SUV.

One driver involved in that incident was taken across the street to the ER at Ascension St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital for evaluation.

Murfreesboro Police PIO Larry Flowers told NewsRadio WGNS that there were no serious injuries resulting from the Medical Center Parkway crash.  

The other incident was in the 2:00 o’clock hour and involved a 4-door black Toyota, a silver Mustang, and a dark 2-door Dodge. It was at the corner of Stones River Mall Blvd. and Robert Rose Drive, next to Dillard’s.

Preliminary reports do not show injuries with any of the drivers at the Stones River Towne Centre, but the same could not be said about the condition of the three cars.
