One way to tell how much Rutherford County has grown in recent years is the increase in emergency calls to Rutherford County EMS. Paramedic and Community Relations Coordinator Brent Carter tells NewsRadio WGNS they're averaging over 42-hundred calls a month:  Carter adds the new Public Safety Building in Rockvale has been operational for several weeks and they just opened in Kittrell last week, all which will help EMS:  Even with the growth in the county, Carter says Rutherford County EMS still has an average response time of only six-minutes!
