RUTHERFORD COUNTY, TN - Woodfin Funeral Chapels is celebrating their past 130-years of serving the Rutherford County area… That was Shannon Woodfin Parsons. The celebration will be held at 4PM on Sunday, October 15, 2023.

Woodfin Funeral Chapels in Murfreesboro and Smyrna have been independent and family owned, since 1893. They are a 6-generation funeral home that has served a huge number of families over their 130-year history.

The local family is also inviting residents who have experienced grief, to take part in their weekly “Mourning” walk, which will start on Thursday, September 14, 2023 and meet every Thursday thereafter at 9:30 AM. The group will meet at the Oakland’s Park Pavilion, at 900 North Maney Avenue in Murfreesboro.
