(MURFREESBORO) A nighttime hit-and-run accident did significant damage to a local home at 1769 Antebellum Drive over this past weekend.

The vehicle first slammed into the garage of the house, destroying the garage door. The wreck caused significant damage to some of the walls as well. Reports show the crash also caused damage and destruction to the dining room walls of the house. 

Engine 9, Ladder 1, Rescue 1, the Structural Collapse Truck, and Tailer all responded to the residential property to conduct shoring activities, following the vehicle Vs. home collision.

Quick work by Murfreesboro Fire-Rescue stabalized the structure to make it liveable while repairs are made.

No injuries were reported with this accident in Murfreesboro.
