LA VERGNE, TN - In LaVergne, police are continuing their investigation into a robbery that was reported on July 4th at 2:15 in the morning.
The culprit behind the crime evidently walked into a 7-11 gas station, pulled out a black revolver and held the clerks at gunpoint. During the incident, the unknown culprit grabbed the cash from the register, turned and fled the store.
According to LaVergne Police, the subject was described as a young Hispanic male who stood between five-foot-five and five-foot-seven. He was wearing a light blue baseball cap with a gray Aeropostale brand hoodie. The man was also wearing black shoes and gray sweatpants.
Police ask that if anyone recognizes the subject or knows information about the hold-up, to phone Detective Tanner Nokes, at 615-287-8748.
