(SMYRNA, TN) A one-vehicle crash occured Saturday (5/27/2023) on Lowry Street at Hoover Drive in Smyrna. The full-size 4-door wine colored Toyota Tundra V-8, 4-door pickup truck was traveling towards Nashville on Lowry, also known as Highway 41, when the crash occured.

In the crash, the vehicle overturned and slid on its side eventually slamming into a utility pole. The point of contact was the front windshield, and the impact was so hard that it appeared as if the truck was bent in half from the windshield back. 

From the looks of the Toyota after it was pealed away from the light pole, it's easy to see why the witness who called 911 reported it as an injury accident. Remarkably, there were no injuries reported Saturday by Smyrna Police as well as the B-shift at Fire and Rescue.  Again, no one was injured.
