RUTHERFORD COUNTY, TN - The 31st Annual Secret Garden Party and Secret Garden Tours, both of which help fund the non-profit Discovery Center, will be held the first weekend of June... That was Lindsey Jennings, Vice President of Philanthropy at the Discovery Center.

For those who have not visited the Discovery Center (502 SW Broad Street) in Murfreesboro... There is always something new for families to explore at the museum, where they have a featured exhibit that changes throughout the year. Currently, that featured exhibit focuses on music and is called, “The Science of Music.”

SECRET GARDEN PARTY / TOUR - As for the upcoming fundraiser, the Secret Garden Party will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 7PM and the Secret Garden Tours will be Saturday and Sunday, June 3rd and 4th. Guests at The Secret Garden Party will enjoy a festive “Farm to Table” theme with a seasonal menu crafted by the Five Senses Restaurant. The adult only party will include LIVE music, an open bar, demonstrations by local artisans, and a live auction. The Secret Garden Tours that start the following Saturday consist of a self-guided walking tour that allows participants to explore and view private gardens in and around Murfreesboro. A total of five different gardens are included this year. Tickets to the garden tour also grants you access to the Discovery Center the day of the event, where staff will have extra garden related activities for friends to enjoy.
