RUTHERFORD COUNTY, TN - The Farmer’s Market at the Lane Agri-Park on John R. Rice Boulevard is back in full swing with the next market day scheduled for this Tuesday morning at 7am to noon.  Long-time Agriculture Extension Agent Mitchell Mote also highlighted a new addition to their Friday line-up this year… Again, the special artisan vendor section will have additional items for sale at the Friday market throughout the season.

In Rutherford County at the open-air community center on the grounds of the Lane Agri-Park, you will find “Producer-Only” goods to include everything from fresh grown fruits, vegetables, meats, eggs, baked and canned goods, flowers, plants, shrub, trees and more. All of the items are from the Middle Tennessee area. The Agriculture The market is “OPEN” every Tuesday and Friday from 7 to Noon, now through the end of October.

At the market, customers can pay for their purchases with cash, credit or debit cards, and they also accept EBT payments. Furthermore, during the months of July and August, many of the farmers accept “WIC Farmers’ Market Vouchers.”
