Murfreesboro, TN - A family fun event is scheduled to take place in Murfreesboro on Saturday, April 29th between 4 and 7PM. David Coggin with Barnabas Vision, a local non-profit in the community, tells us that food, a bounce castle, kids activities and an ice cream truck will be on site for the come and go style festivities. There will also be a brief fundraiser program that begins at 5PM on the 29th. For details, the location and to RSVP, simply email “David@TheBarnabasVision.org” or call Barnabas Vision at 615-556-5134.
Barnabas Vision uses funds that are raised at several events throughout the year to help those who are homeless or struggling to make ends meet. Sometimes, the need is providing food for a family or helping someone secure housing. The need can also be more complex and require guidance on where to turn next.
A multitude of programs that are spearheaded by Barnabas Vision need the help of the community to succeed. There are volunteer opportunities available with their Intervention, Adopt-a-Grandparent, Adopt-A-Teen programs and more. Barnabas also offers educational classes to help the struggling thrive! The best part about it - - you are helping others right here, in the Murfreesboro area.
