As storm cleanup continues here in Rutherford County from Saturday storms, National Weather Service meteorologists are keeping an eye on the Tuesday/Wednesday time frame for the potential of additional severe weather.

Forecasters say "this Tuesday/Wednesday time frame will be what we`ll be watching for the potential of strong to severe thunderstorms. Pre-frontal thunderstorms look to begin Tuesday evening and continue overnight before the main line of storms sweeps eastward early Wednesday. Stay tuned as we continue to iron out the details on exact timing and hazard information."

NWS officials have been busy across the state and here in Rutherford County, assessing the damage from the Saturday storms. They'll determine if it was damaging winds or tornadoes that did the damage and the strength of the winds or tornadoes that did the damage.
