Linebaugh Hosts Author Derek Puma for Book Signing

(Murfreesboro, TN) Linebaugh Public Library is pleased to host local author Derek Puma for a book signing on Tuesday, January 10, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The author will be signing and selling copies of his book, The Message: Live Life, Treasure True Love, Find Faith, published by Westbow Press.

Puma’s book is a message on understanding life and finding a purpose. He reminds the reader of the wonderful gift life is and how to treasure the importance of true love and focus on one another in the gift of marriage.

Readers will not only be inspired, motivated, and encouraged but brought to understand that we’re not walking through this life alone. All problems, stress, and struggles can be placed in God’s hands. In him, fulfillment and peace are found. Puma’s goal is for this book to bring readers a whole new outlook and view on life.

Derek M. Puma is an American actor known for his rock star looks and portraying villains. Born in Rome, New York, he is of Sicilian and Seneca (Haudenosaunee) decent. Puma started out modeling at age 6 and fell in love with acting while performing in school plays. In 2013, Puma published his first book called The Message, and has since continued writing but with a focus more on songwriting and storytelling.

Besides writing, Puma has been known for his cosplays, and in 2019, decided to shift his focus to acting for film and television. In 2022, Puma moved to Nashville where he continued to book himself roles in films, a hit series, music videos, and a commercial with ESPN, as well as being featured in Nashville Voyager Magazine for his inspiring story of striving towards his acting dreams. Entertaining and bringing joy to others is what Puma enjoys doing most.

The author will have copies of his book to sign and sell.
