(Murfreesboro, TN) Police officers with the Murfreesboro Police Department now have bodycams… That was MPD Chief Michael Bowen who told WGNS that every officer should be outfitted with a bodycam by the end of December.
Earlier this year in September, the bodycams were approved by the Murfreesboro City Council. The council also approved new in-car cameras, which will be installed in the weeks to come. Those new bodycams and in-car cameras will be integrated with one another... Nearby cities like Smyrna, Lebanon and Nashville already have bodycams.
