(Patterson Park, Murfreesboro) There are lot’s of things to do in Murfreesboro as we near the holidays! On the evening of December 16th, families can enjoy Christmas at Patterson Park, a FREE event that will raise your holiday spirits… That was Susan Hicks with Murfreesboro Parks and Rec. Hicks told WGNS the Tennessee Valley Winds Quartet will perform Christmas Music and ‘Perform Murfreesboro’ Kids will be singing Christmas Carols throughout the evening at Patterson Park. The event will be on Friday, December 16th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and again, it’s FREE to attend (Scroll down for address).
(Cannonsburgh Village, Murfreesboro) Load up the car and add to those cozy holiday memories. Cannonsburgh Village will be lit to life with a Christmas light display. The lights will be on for the first three weekends of December. Murfreesboro Parks and Rec. Assistant Director Rachel Singer told WGNS the drive-thru light display first started in the heat of the COVID outbreak… Singer said families appreciate changes in the annual display… The FREE drive-thru light display is open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights between 5PM and 8PM (December 2nd through December 18 - Scroll down for address).
